About me
A registered architect, Sean has professional experience with a wide range of project types, including K-12 educational facilities, corporate offices, spaces for arts and cultural institutions, and projects involving community engagement. Passionate about humanistic architecture, Sean believes the best projects are co-created with their communities. His approach aims to uncover the many layers of ecology, history, economics, and sociocultural contexts that exist in our world. This approach—blended with a strong understanding of site, context, light/shadow, materiality, and spatial characteristics—can result in truly meaningful architecture. Sean is currently treasurer of the AIA Minnesota Board of Directors, a member of the AIA Minnesota Community of Practice for Culture Change Core Team, and an adjunct instructor at the University of Minnesota College of Design School of Architecture.
